Jučer sam instalirao Sharpcap i odmah su mi se upalio upitnik nad glavom.
Muči me kak program računa HA sjevernjače ako ne zna zemljopisnu širinu.
Pitao sam autora i odgovor je slijedeći
Hi,
actually the polar alignment in SharpCap doesn't really use the position of Polaris, so it doesn't need to work out the hour angle.
When you rotate the mount around the RA axis, the image appears to rotate. SharpCap works out the point the image rotates around (that's where the mount axis is currently pointing) and also works out where the NCP is by plate solving. The difference between the two is your PA error.
Actually I do estimate your latitude (to be +45 or -45 depending on hemisphere) and your longitude from the time zone, but that is only used to calculate the Alt/Az offsets required to correct the PA. The actual arrow on screen that shows how far to move the selected star doesn't depend on this.
cheers,
Robin
Ne znam kak se nisam tog prije sjetio

Ali mi nije mi baš 100% jasno. Ovaj dio s offset?
